Profile
Technical Product Manager with 10+ years taking connected hardware-software products (IoT and medical devices) from zero to market. Currently Product Manager for APIs and B2B connectivity at Avantio (Travel Tech): API-first strategy, API metrics as a product and the integrations ecosystem. I founded eKuore, a medical device company, at age 27 and led it for 10 years with a team of 28 people: 10 products launched to the medical and veterinary markets, the medical devices under ISO 13485 and CE marking (MDD/MDR), distribution in 10+ countries, 10,000+ units and around €1M in revenue for 2 consecutive years.
Experience
- Product Manager for Avantio's public API portfolio (PMS REST & SOAP, Portals, Web and Accounting) and B2B connectivity (Channel Manager and App) in Travel Tech.
- API-first approach: OpenAPI contract before implementation, design conventions (versioning, errors, pagination), public documentation and a deprecation policy with migration guides.
- Led the launch of the Web REST API and the progressive deprecation of the XML API, migrating customers without breaking integrations and reducing onboarding time for new integrations.
- Defined API metrics as a product (adoption per endpoint and consumer, uptime, p95 latency, error rate) with observability dashboards for business and engineering.
- Defined the API alerting and incident-response system to operate against explicit SLOs, coordinating engineering, CX and sales across the full lifecycle.
